As a first time guidance associate? What should I do?

Hi!

My experience from my previous job is basically licensed psychometrician only in an educational setting. I am anxious since I applied to the same field but the position will be JHS guidance counselor/associate. What I’m anxious about is that I haven’t talked to students like counseling. Since what I do from my previous work is all about administering psychological tests for the K-12 students.

My question is what will I expect especially the students will be JHS. What programs can I possibly offer to them.
