Interested in Casually Collecting/Playing

As someone who loves Disney and plays DDV like crazy, I wanted to start collecting Lorcana cards & learn to actually play.

But I don’t have limitless amount of money to spend on packs and such. Is there people who just collect and keep cards of characters they like, cards they think are pretty, or are good in gameplay?

I didn’t know if I should just keep every card I get because why not or fill up a binder with cards I like. My husband said he would start playing to so I had someone to play with as he would prolly be only person I trade with also. And what do shy people do with duplicates? 😅

I see people buy the princess binder and fill it with princess cards but is that a specific set or they just fill it with all princess cards they can find?

Just from looking at the cards, I like the Winterspell set as I love Christmas so I think maybe after getting a beginners set to teach me how to play I start there.

I’ve never collected cards so I don’t even know how to do it casually 🤣 I know it’s not this complicated but thought I would see if there’s any other people like me :)
