Rice or UCLA

I'm deciding on Rice vs UCLA and I'm pretty split, wondering if anybody on here had any insights. They're pretty even for my major (data science), so it isn't a huge factor.

Pros for UCLA:

• Closer to home
• Cheaper (Parents would pay either way so not a huge factor)
• Food
• Weather
• More traditional college experience with party scene and such
• Slightly more name recognition/prestige
• Prefer the city and area

Pros for Rice:

• Much more tight-knit
• Smaller class sizes, no issues with class registration
• Slightly prefer the campus
• Better dorms
• More resources available per student
• Easier to get internships/research
• More academic flexibility

Would really appreciate any insights people had, thank you.
