**EVE Frontier Hackathon Deep Dive - 🥈 Blood Contract** (2nd place)

Explore the project: [Blood Contract](https://bloodcontract.space/)

Blood Contract is a complete operating layer for player-driven bounty hunting in EVE Frontier, turning PvP into a structured and repeatable system with contract-defined conditions and automatic payouts.

It allows players to place rewards on targets, define hunt conditions, and enforce outcomes through on-chain contracts.

\---
**What this project does**

Blood Contract enables players to create bounty contracts by locking rewards against a target and defining conditions for completion.

**It supports:**

• Ship and structure-based targets

• Required kill counts

• Time-bound contracts

• Automatic reward distribution

Hunters who fulfill the conditions can claim rewards directly from the contract.

\---

**Core systems**

• Standard Bounties for single-target hunts

• Ship and Structure filters for precise objectives

• Multiple Kill contracts distributing rewards across repeated eliminations

• Future Killer bounties that automatically place a bounty on whoever kills you

• Auto Sort system surfacing the most valuable active targets

Blood Contract turns bounty hunting into a persistent PvP loop with clear incentives, sustained conflict, and enforceable outcomes. It introduces a system where player actions generate ongoing chains of interaction, rather than isolated encounters.

\---

**Technical scope**

• Split architecture across dApp, oracle, Frontier client package, and Move contract

• Oracle monitors lifecycle and killmail feeds

• Verified outcomes written on-chain through OracleCap

• Contract layer supporting standard bounties, repeated kill pools, and future-killer orders

**Words from the judges**

"*Clear and tightly focused project - an on-chain bounty system is very intuitive and can make an immediate impact on the Frontier universe*"

"*Far from "just" a bounty hunter service, this is a core building block that should and will compose into more complex security systems, driven by "future killer bounty" type mechanics.*"

"*Blood Contract is strong because it is not just a bounty board. It is trying to make bounty hunting feel like a real PvP and security system with contract-held rewards and verified outcomes.*"

Blood Contract stands as one of the first functional security systems emerging in Frontier, showing how PvP, incentives, and enforcement can be structured into persistent player-driven systems.
