DATELINE: Sat. 25th, April: McKenzie - Hendrick’s to Hayden.

In an attempt to raise the Phoenix of a Westfly Rondi out of the ashes of a world gone mad, the Westside Rippers & Eastside Hammers decided to head South to see if the Riffles were willing to rumble… “Can You Dig It, Suckas?!?!”

We drug Ole Blue down the highway, with not a balloon in sight. We agreed to assemble in an undisclosed, yet well maintained location, but I have to report the aphids were already on the roses.

Loaded up we headed for the put in… Old Ghosts were already there, with matching paint jobs & truck stickers… the blood & bones were hard to interpret. The fish came in waves, not lights out but enough to keep Us wanting to stop to fish. You all know how that goes. Fish were caught on wets under dries of McCaddis’, an array of nymphs, and a couple on streamers… strictly shown-boating for the NaySayer, 😏.

There was a collective triple play, with one whitey, a few cutties, and a mix of nates / pellet-heads. A stunning day on the water, & delicious hoagies (if I may say so, Myself 😆). Risers were intermittent at best. Boat traffic was nil. The slog home was worth the time spent with Homies on a stunner of a float.

“You doin’ alright?”

No Criddlers to report… still early. Stay safe out there Boppers.
