Driving on a flat

So, this has probably been asked before or this may even be the wrong place. I (19F) had to change my own spare in the middle of the night, long story made short is that I patched it, didn’t have an air pump and drove to the nearest gas station going under 10 MPH, and it was a little less than 1/4 of a mile away. I don’t know how to check for damage, and realistically how much damage will this cause? I didn’t realize I had a jack and wrench with my donut or else I would have just changed it right where I was , i didn’t know until after I called my insurance change it after I failed and drove on it 🫠 I drive a 2013 ford focus if that is of any relevancy.
