Description:
Hi everyone! I’m a solo developer and I’ve been working on a game called Kill King.
It’s a turn-based strategy game inspired by chess, but it plays very differently. Instead of instant moves, both players plan their actions using Action Points, and then everything resolves step by step. Units have HP, abilities, and can evolve during the match, so it feels closer to a mix of chess, auto-battler, and tactical RPG.
The main goal is still simple: kill the enemy King. But the way you get there involves prediction, mind games, and sometimes crazy moments where you hit a cell at the exact moment an enemy moves into it.
You can play it directly in your browser — it works on both PC and mobile (mobile UI is still being improved).
I’m especially interested in feedback on:
- first impression (is it clear what to do?)
- pacing of turns
- UI clarity during planning
- overall fun / frustration
The game is completely free.
