6 YOE Frontend Lead just got laid off — Need guidance, referrals, anything that helps
I’m a Frontend Developer with ~6 years of experience, recently working as a Lead at a UK-based startup. Unfortunately, the company is shutting down — not due to product or engineering issues, but because the sales side couldn’t generate enough traction.
Now I’m in a tough spot with no backup plan and actively looking for new opportunities.
My background:
- 6 years of experience in frontend development
- Strong focus on React.js, TypeScript, and modern web architecture
- Experience leading projects end-to-end (from planning to deployment)
- Worked closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment
- Built scalable, production-grade applications
I’ve been applying through job portals, but responses have been limited so far.
I would genuinely appreciate a help.
Also open to freelance/contract work if that’s a faster route right now.
Happy to share my resume via DM.
Thanks in advance
