Unfinished

You came along with enthusiasm and a love for knowledge ready to curl up with a book you had no intention of putting down but these words were written in a language you couldn't understand and you skimmed the pages hoping to understand but a library filled with words you already knew made it easier to put our story back on the shelf - to collect dust to be forgotten and maybe one day someone will walk in and recognize every letter every word displayed across these worn pages and maybe they'll wipe the dust off and maybe I'll become their favorite story - one they read from start to finish maybe just maybe they'll memorize every sentence every line maybe they wont mind the creases in the pages.
