6th Semester B.Tech Student Looking for Summer Internship (SDE/Backend/Tech Roles | May–July | India/Remote)

Hi everyone,

I’m a 6th semester B.Tech student (Electronics & Communication Engineering) from MANIT Bhopal, preparing for software/backend roles and looking to secure a summer internship (mid-May to mid-July 2026).

I can join from May 10 and I’m open to both remote and India-based opportunities.

I wanted to ask for guidance and potential leads from people who’ve been through this process.

My background:

Languages: C++, Python, JavaScript

Backend: Node.js, Express, REST APIs, JWT Auth

Databases: MongoDB, MySQL

Strong in DSA, OOP, OS, DBMS

Projects:

Built a Deep Packet Inspection engine (C++) for network traffic classification

Developed a Spring Boot backend system with RBAC, JWT, REST APIs

Created a MERN-based secure medical report platform

Achievements:

National Finalist – Goldman Sachs India Hackathon

~500 DSA problems solved (LeetCode, Codeforces, etc.)

Competitive programming ratings around 1800–1900

What I’m looking for help with:

How to find good SDE/backend internships at this stage

Any platforms/startups I should target

Resume or project feedback

Referrals or leads (if allowed)
