Miss having someone to coregulate with

Having a hard time tonight.

Cop cars outside my home (even blocking my driveway). Immediate fear because of the current state of affairs in this country, plus active divorce case. Although I have zero reason to be afraid on any count, lol.

Turns out my neighbors teen son ran from home. After the cops left, I went to their house, talked to the mom, listened, validated, helped her text her son. He eventually reshared his location, and came back home, but then got aggressive and ended up getting 5150’ed.

As a single mom, living alone (coz kid’s with the father tonight), I’m rattled, very off centered, and have no one to coregulate with. While I don’t miss the ex one bit, nights like tonight I wish for a companion to talk it out with.
