Giv EVC charging slots

Hi all,

I have a Giv EVC and have recently had trouble with the charging stopping before the car limit (80%) is reached. The car charge starts but about an hour later stops. This is intermittent.

I have a Giv Inverter and battery, and solar.

In order to prevent the EVC from draining my battery during the overnight charge, I set the battery charge slot to the same times as the EVC charge. I was advised by the EVC installer this is the only way to prevent the car draining the house battery during charging.

My Giv App does not have a "discharge schedule" setting to prevent battery discharge, only Charge Schedule and Export Schedule (which simply dumps the battery to the grid).

How can I deconflict the battery and car charge ? I suspect this combination, in conjunction with other household appliances drawing overnight, is the cause of my car charge interruption.
