Does the classic clogs and the classic PLATFORM clogs has the same size??

My mother is using the classic unisex clogs size 8US. Shes about to celebrate her birthday. And i think im gonna give her a new pair of classic platform clogs. The one with the taller heels for female. She loves wearing crocs. Shes size 8 in classic clogs. Should i also buy the size 8us for her classic platform clogs? Thanks.
