SIT computer science specialised in IoT opinions?

Got an offer for SIT for computer science specialised in IoT, just want to ask whether it's worth taking, how to degree is from a students perspective. I am also waiting for SMU to reply to my application for IS, SE and CS, should I accept this SIT degree or wait onto SMU? I've heard that SMU IT courses are more fluff then actual industry applicable material, so I'm really confused. Any opinions would help.

For reference, this is the SIT degree
