query about the second boards

Hi! I'm gonna be giving the second board for sst and I was confused about one thing. I got 93 in sst but my family wants me to give the test again since I could possibly score like one or two marks higher in it and increase my percentage.

I'm not against it since I don't mind studying sst again, but my main doubt was — hypothetically, I score lower in sst in my second examination than I did in my first boards. *If* that happens, will the new and lower score be taken as the updated and final score in my marksheet, or will the best of two rule apply so that I retain my previous marks?

I asked a lot of people in real life about this but I've recieved mixed responses, so I want to be fully certain. I don't want to chance losing any marks in my pursuit to gain some, so I really need some answers. Thank you!
