Should I view being the girl next door as a good thing?

I've had people, including girls and guys, call me the girl next door, the Taylor Swift "You Belong With Me" music video type. Along with saying I look really pretty.

I take it as a compliment, of course, but I also feel like it isn't the best compliment you could receive.

As a guy, and I know that this is different for each guy, let's say you are friends with the girl next door and also this stunning beauty, realistically, who would you be attracted to?
