Should i take drop

Hey everyone,

I really need honest advice.

I gave JEE Main 2026 (April attempt) and got around 40 percentile, with a rank of ~9.5 lakh.

Category: OBC (female)

Home state: Uttar Pradesh

Honestly, I didn’t prepare seriously this year and my basics are not very strong right now.

Now I’m confused about what to do next:

Should I take a drop year and prepare properly for JEE 2026?

Or should I join a private college this year and move on?
