Should i do my masters in embedded abroad or take repeat and do it here or just get a job ??
I’m graduating next month with a B.Tech. Honestly, I spent most of my time just surviving the degree, so I didn’t properly prepare for GATE and missed qualifying by 1 mark.
Right now I feel pretty lost. I actually want to start working and earning—I’m interested in embedded systems, robotics, and ADAS (my final year project got me into this). But I haven’t been able to land a job yet.
At the same time, there’s family pressure to go for a master’s. So now I’m stuck between:
Trying again for GATE and aiming for something like an NIT or going abroad for a master’s (would need a loan, so that’s a big decision)
I’m from a middle-class background, so I can’t afford to mess this up. Part of me just wants to start earning ASAP, but I also don’t want to regret not doing a master’s later.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What did you do? Would really appreciate some honest advice.
