Research paper publish suggestion .
I recently got a paper accepted at IEEE-ICCA 2026 (International Conference on Computer Applications), and I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth paying the registration fee.
The acceptance says it’s for oral presentation + publication in IEEE proceedings (Scopus, DBLP, Web of Science indexed).
However, I have some concerns:
1.One reviewer rated it “Weak Reject” with low technical depth comments
2.Overall score was around 50–60 from one reviewer
3.The work is more of a system integration (YOLOv8 + OCR), not highly novel
4.They require registration within 7 days, no refund policy
They also mention:
Paper must be presented (online or onsite) for publication
Otherwise it will be withdrawn .
I checked and past ICCA papers are available on IEEE Xplore, so it does seem to have a history of publication.
Is it worth paying for this ?
