Why Super Meteor 650 (Interstellar Green) is not available in any showrooms? Is it going to be discontinued?

I booked a Super Meteor 650 on April 3, 2026, in Prayagraj. The dealership had given me a delivery date of April 25. Since it was my birthday, I requested them on April 15 to deliver it earlier if the bike had arrived. They agreed that we’ll give you on 22 or 23rd of april. I said okay.

But when I checked again on April 22, they said it would take more time and that the April-manufactured unit was coming from Chennai. Then when I asked again on the 26th, they said it would take even longer and that the bike would arrive around May 15. They even suggested that I cancel my booking.

I was really pissed off. Then I checked in Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Kanpur—nowhere is the Super Meteor 650 Interstellar Green available in showrooms. Everywhere, it’s only available on booking, with a waiting period of 30 to 45 days.

Why is this happening? Is the Super Meteor being discontinued or what’s the issue? Please, can someone tell me? I really want to purchase that bike, but why is the waiting period so long and why there’s no super meteor at the showrooms.
