Was Gundham Tanaka's execution Fair?

I wanted to ask this question because it's been on my mind lately since the weekend and I wanted to ask the community itself if anybody thinks Gundham Tanaka's execution was unfair because Nekomaru isn't human. I do want to bring up some points and be free to disprove them or tell me I'm wrong cuz I'm looking for opinion. If robots do count as people who can be killed why wasn't Mondo executed when he caused monokuma to self-destruct cuz that is very much his fault and also Chiaki is an AI who has been executed because she killed nagito but if nagito killed her like planned would he get executed even though she isn't human just like alter ego. I feel like this is the only time a robot has been killed in this game cuz all the time they've been executed, examples: alter ego, Chiaki, monokuma during the ultimate punishment, and K1-B0 being executed but never killed so I just wanted to know if this execution is fair or not fair.
