Clutch Feels Spongy and Hard to Get Into Gear, Hydraulic or Worn Clutch?

Hey everyone, I’ve got a 2007 Honda Civic 1.8 manual with about 156k miles. Lately, the clutch feels really spongy, no resistance for most of the pedal, and I only get a slight bite at the very bottom. I also struggle to get it into gear, especially first and second, even when the clutch is fully pressed. Do you think this sounds more like a hydraulic issue, like the master or slave cylinder, or is the clutch itself worn out? Just curious what you all think before I take it in.
