Shipping 101: 4PX vs. YunExpress vs. Yanwen. Which one actually wins in 2026❓
Hey guys, being a supply chain agent in China, I get asked about logistics every single day. Many store owners focus on product cost but lose all their profit on bad shipping or "hidden" surcharges.
Here’s my honest breakdown of the top players based on the thousands of orders I handle:
YunExpress :
Pros: Generally the most stable for the US/EU market. Their tracking is excellent and integrates perfectly with Shopify.
Cons: Stricter on weight and dimensions. If you’re slightly over, the price jumps.
4PX :
Pros: Sometimes cheaper for specific UK/German routes. They have great global warehouse coverage.
Cons: Tracking updates can occasionally lag, which might lead to more customer emails.
Yanwen :
Pros: The king of budget shipping for low-value items.
Cons: Speed is inconsistent. "Standard" can take 15+ days, which is risky for TikTok stores.
My Advice: If you're scaling, YunExpress is the safest bet for 7-12 day delivery. If you're on a tight budget for light items, look at 4PX.
One thing I do for my clients: I always pre-inspect the packaging to avoid "volumetric weight" traps. In Yiwu, a few centimeters can be the difference between profit and loss.
What’s your experience? Who’s giving you the most headaches right now?
