Hello Reddit. My first port. Lets buy some laptops. Help.

(i) Good enough for engineering. (Mostly CSE and EE).

(ii) I will find a way to be fine with co-pilot switch(😭😭😭😭)

(iii) Full metal build(Whether it be single metal or an alloy). Partial metal build is also acceptable.

(iv) Atleast 16gb ram. Single ram slot.

(v) Atleast 1TB ssd. For, I prefer 2 ssd slots. Each will occupy one 512gb ssd. So that I can keep my Linux partition away from Microslop/Microsoft Windows.

(vi) Battery efficient and larger battery (Atleast greater than 60 watt hour battery capacity). In short just decent battery life.

(vi) GPU is optional. For the sake of battery, no dedicated GPU is preferred.

(vii) Good/Decent amount of ports

(viii) X86 platform.

(ix) Intel or AMD processor. Battery efficient architecture.

(x) Nothing much about screen. Not a gaming laptop.

(xi) Very Very durable, sturdy and high quality. No complains after purchase.
