How do I activate bypass charging?

I know it works with games, but is there a way to use bypass charging regularly? I use wireless Android Auto for 4-8 hours per day, and I don't wanna keep recharging my phone, and I'd just prefer to plug my phone in and forget about the battery.

I use Waze on AA, so I tried adding it to Gaming Hub. But bypass charging does not work.
