Why is dhanush becoming a boomer in script selection and going in the serious track since Thiruchitrambalam

Lately I am finding Dhanush hard to watch with always the sogam moonji expressions and village-based scripts. It feels like he forgot his strengths and totally went on the serious track I’m still waiting for the day he does a bang on commercial subject that is liked by the masses.Can someone please convince him to change his route from now🙏🏼
