Leveling Sailing does not feel as impactful as leveling other skills?
Sailing currently feels disconnected from meaningful account progression, and that’s the core issue.
Other skills have clear milestone unlocks that make training them feel worthwhile. 87 Slayer unlocks trident and helps make your account raid ready. 81 Herblore unlocks Sara Brews. 90 agility gives access to the Ardougne elite diary step and faster DKS access. 94 Magic lets you Ice barrage and use Vengeance. These levels provide tangible account upgrades.
Sailing doesn’t have that same payoff. It often feels more like a self contained minigame because much of its content is gated behind other skills rather than Sailing itself.
Rosewood is a perfect example: you already need 79 Sailing just to reach the island, so why also require 92 Woodcutting? If content is already locked behind a significant Sailing milestone, that should be the reward.
If Sailing is meant to feel like a core skill, its progression needs to stand on its own and offer meaningful unlocks that make training it worth prioritizing.
Or am I really tripping? Does it really need 92 WC?
