Wage garnishing

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

So my wages have been getting garnished all year. I thought it was taxes because I owe. Recently found out it’s not. It’s because of “damages to a rental car”. For context I’ve never driven, never had my license ever. I’ve never rented a car. I also never got served for court. Maybe it was in the mail or something idk I never saw it I’m guessing that’s why they started garnishing my wages by default. It’s been months since it started. My question is who do I contact to get it to stop? What action do I take? I’m so lost.
