Slow day to close out the month, but the assholes came back with a VENGEANCE.....

Before we even opened, a guy actually got out of his car, moved our barrier, and tried to dump. He was not successful, but I certainly knew what kind of day I had in front of me 🤣

Right off the bat, an old lady is bitching about the dressing rooms. This woman looked like Walmart Courtney Cox, but meth-ier. Then she got even more mad when told there were no returns either. She ended up storming out without buying anything. 4. More. Days.....

Next up, we have the return of the homeless couple that yells "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!" at everyone, extremely aggressively, regardless of season. It's been AWHILE since we've seen these 2, but they're here. Same crazy. They have vouchers, though. Yay 😶 so they go about getting a few things, and of course, they don't have enough vouchers. But they don't want to put anything back, they think we should just give it to them. Not. Fucking. Happening.

The woman throws a fit. She's the queen of her universe. Some other jibber jabber. So I cancelled their entire transaction and 86'ed em. They caused a scene until I picked up the phone. They already knew full well I'd call the cops on them, so they pissed off. And, you guessed it...

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!" on the way out the door.

Four.

More.

Days......

Last up for the day, we have Karen at the donor door. She wants it explained why we won't take her USED, CUSHIONED MASSAGERS......

I remain an adult. I explain that we can't take personal care products. What does this old hag say, you ask?

"Well you're not taking socks then. Socks are personal care products. No more socks."

Like she's making some kind of fucking declaration over all of Goodwill-dom.

I wish, I so wish, I was making this up....

In my mood, I just cut her off. Told her flat out she can either lose the attitude or take ALL of her crap back to her car and fuck off. She did precisely that 🤣😂 lugged 2 boxes of assorted trash back to her truck, then flipped me the bird as she sped off.

Four. More. FUCKING. Days....

We closed out the month with a $2700 day. 86 donors, though, so hopefully we start the month off strong tomorrow. I'll have to do math to see if we keep our budget streak going. No shop is going to HURT.

Dinner tonight is teriyaki chicken breast 😁 marinated 2 chicken breasts in teriyaki. I'm going to pan grill them, and have another of my fully loaded green salads with it 😋
