Follow Your Passion: A Lesson From My Life

I am Shashivardhan. I have just started my career in the IT industry at a small startup.

After my intermediate, I wanted to pursue Mechanical Engineering because it was my dream. However, due to family pressure, I ended up choosing Computer Science. I completed the degree, but I didn’t build any practical skills during that time. I realized this too late.

Later, I joined an institute and took a Python Full Stack course. After 10 months, I cracked my first job. Now, the company wants me to learn Java.

I feel that because of one wrong decision in choosing my engineering branch, I have ended up doing work that I cannot do wholeheartedly.

My advice is: Always share your passion and ideas with your parents, and never compare yourself with others.

Thank you.
