CPAP hose squished?

My cpap hose got squished and it’s like a half circle rather than a full circle for 2-3 feet. I have no clue how this happened, I’ve only had it for 2 months.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does it impact the therapy itself?

It’s the resmed climate 6ft hose. Thanks!
