Most cashback just sits in an app wallet and gets spent on groceries. Tata Neu has a redemption option that's actually worth paying attention to: you can convert NeuCoins into Tanishq gold coins at 1:1 (1 NeuCoin = ₹1).

Not a voucher. Not a discount. Physical gold coins from Tanishq.

I just redeemed ₹6,990 worth of NeuCoins for a 0.5g 24KT Tanishq Gold Coin. Coins I earned from regular spends on BigBasket, utilities, and Zomato. Honestly one of the better redemptions I've made on any card.

**If your monthly BigBasket + utilities + Zomato run ₹10,000+, you're looking at ₹1,000+ in NeuCoins every month from spends you'd make anyway.**

**How NeuCoins add up:**

* 10% back on BigBasket, Croma, 1mg, Air India, Tata CLiQ, Zudio, Westside, Tanishq, Titan, Taj Hotels, Cult fit
* 1.5% on all UPI spends via Tata Neu UPI ID
* 5% on insurance and utility bill payments
* ₹1,499 NeuCoins as welcome bonus on first transaction

**The gold redemption:**

* Redeem via the Tata Neu app under the Tanishq section
* 1 NeuCoin = ₹1 toward Tanishq gold coins
* No making charges on gold coins (unlike jewellery)
* Tanishq gold is BIS hallmarked

So instead of letting cashback evaporate on random purchases, you're converting everyday spends into a hard asset.

**How to redeem (a little tricky, so saving you the confusion):**

1. Open Tata Neu / Tanishq / Mia app
2. Go to Jewellery Category and select Gold Coins
3. Pick your coin and proceed to checkout
4. Enter your delivery address
5. Under payment, select Gift Cards and Vouchers, then Coupons and Vouchers
6. Select Loyalty Redemption and enter the NeuCoins quantity you want to redeem

The option is buried under payment, which is why many people miss it. Don't look for it on the product page.
