AITAH for my response to my wife?

To start, this isn’t that serious and my wife is laughing about it now, but she still says I’m an asshole for it. What do you think?

My wife (31) and I (33) have been together for 9 years and married for 6. Our marriage is great and we look forward to a future together and want to start a family. But there is one HUGE problem with that: our marriage is sexless. I’m lucky if we have sex three times a year. It’s something we frequently talk about and have been to therapy for, but it hasn’t been better.

My wife frequently brings up wanting to get started with a family but still has no desire to do the deed. I tell her how much this conversation frustrates me with no change, but she continues to bring it up.

Well last night I made a comment that may make me an asshole. We were at dinner and there was a family at another table that had a really cute baby. My wife pointed it out and hit me with a “see, why can’t we have one of those?” It may have been the frustration of being back at work after our anniversary trip last week and being back to the grind of daily life, or just months of sexual frustration, but I immediately responded with “his dad probably gets laid.” She was not happy with this response.

Am I an asshole?
