HDR - Booking International Conference Travel

Hi there.

I am after the perspective of an HDR student who has recently travelled internationally to attend a conference.

I am planning on booking some international travel that my supervisors endorse and will fund. However, I am really struggling with the website to figure out what the process is to book the travel. From what ti understand I need to submit a form to my head of school for the international travel but beyond that I am at a loss.

Please share how you booked your international travel, and anything you wish you knew beforehand.
