CMV: Talk of "Male Biological Clocks" is "bunk science" pushed by society to make so-called "Older Women" feel better about their fertility choices/challenges.
^Title^ and I'm sure this post will likely not win me any friends or influence people.
Perhaps I'm terminally online and I got triggered by a lot of the discussion of Capcom's new Pragmata game in which the player character acts like a father figure to a child robot. Honestly, I think it looks like a pretty fun game and I'd like to pick it up and try it out at somepoint. So, #Ad for the new Pragmata game?
Anyway, that's beside the point though as I suppose the core point I would make is simply that:
- Male and Female Fertility are fundamentally different
- While they're outliers, Men can have children well into "Old Age." Even if we could go into a number of reasons why this isn't ideal for the Mother and/or Children produced.
- Women reach an age at which point they can no longer give birth to offspring. We among the terminally online call this "menopause."
- Sexual Preferences are fundamentally illogical. However, sexual pairings that can produce offspring continuously reproduce those sexual preferences. Especially if those pairings are "illogical" and "not ideal."
Curious what the rebuttals will be to my perspective. I suppose something that would convince me otherwise is if you could explain why "Male Biological clocks" are in fact very real.
Until then my friends, terminally online denizens unite!
Edit0: I wasn't sure if the NSFW tag was appropriate, but I figured I'd include it given the subject matter and senstitivity. If the Moderators feel differently, feel free to remove the tag.
