2016 GLC 300 fan is really loud during drives and idling

Anyone else experience this with their GLC 300? The fan will get really loud for a few minutes then turn back off. It happens while driving and while the car is idling. Same issue with AC off or AC working. Checked coolant. Temperature is in the normal range when warmed up.
