I don’t understand my feelings of wedding anxiety

My fiancé (33M) and I (28F) are planning a 2027 wedding and I feel really dumb for my feelings.

Im extremely lucky and grateful that my parents are paying for the wedding. They’ve also been helpful, understanding, and keep reminding me that it’s my wedding and I can do whatever I want (as long as I stay in budget of course).

Here’s my dilemma. EVERYTHING IS SO EXPENSIVE! As soon as you put the word wedding in front of something..all of the sudden it’s double the price! I’m not over budget or even close to over budget, but I have spent a lot so far and all I’ve done is the venue, food, alcohol, photographer, and entertainment.

While I’m looking at prices and stuff, I’m always under budget, but once we put in the amount in the budget spread sheet, I start freaking out! Maybe it’s because I’m not used to seeing such a large number? Are my feelings even valid?? I just feel so dumb feeling like this!
