Bad luck? Or Am i missing something

Army List

Hey guys! Just for a bit of context im a newer WE player, and i got about 6 or so games under my belt with them. Im not playing super aggressive but keeping in mind hiding my stuff and ensuring i get the charges on my bait units. But every game it seems i hit the 2nd round "go" And completely fail at doing any sort of reasonable damage against anything with 4++ or 4+++ So they clap back kill most of my stuff and then next turn basically table me. Im starting to not want to charge and just run away... These games have been against death watch, dark angels, votann, or death guard. Am i missing something or is it the right mind set to avoid stuff like characters and death wing knights for example. Heres my list
