Hi everyone, I’m trying to understand IBM CIC career mobility a little better.

For someone who starts in an entry-level CIC role, I understand internal transfers may depend on manager approval, but I’m curious about people’s real experiences.

Also, how to leaves CIC with a good reason and good standing though? And later applies back to IBM as an external candidate for a mainline/core role. Is there usually any waiting period or rehire eligibility issue?

One more thing I’m curious about: has anyone left CIC and later worked directly for a client? Were there any non-compete or conflict-of-interest restrictions?

Not trying to be negative about CIC — Hundreds of entry-IBMers just new to consulting like me are trying to understand the long-term career path and some helpful answers for this!!!
