Dual heat mode with heat pump and gas, options

Has anyone been able to successfully setup dual heat mode.

My heat pump gets the water first then it goes through the gas heater. If i want to heat my pool up quickly, using both heaters, it doesnt appear to be an option.

I have the ultratemp 140 h/c and a mastertemp 400

For the life of me i cant figure out why the app wont let you do both at the same time if you want. there are no physical limitations, just software limits.
