Katie Case and Her Website Creating Side Hustle

⚖️ Case Questions & Musings 🗒️

Since Liman is about to unseal information on the account she worked on in October 2024 (the Alexander brothers-page 26 second link), I wanted to revisit Katie's involvement in the creation of the sites.

We all saw the text where Melissa claimed Rebel wanted one of those sites. Clearly, Melissa knew Katie created sites. Much like Melissa solicits Jed's help with her clients, it looks like she does the same with Katie. Whether Katie has a business name or pays taxes on her side business is unknown.

TAG officially started June 1, 2024. I don't know how long they were setting up shop or where each person came from. Melissa was with Hiltzik during the Depp trial and interviewed for Jonesworks in 2023 but never worked there, even though she did refer others to Stephanie. Katie worked for Stephanie in the past, but I don't know the dates. I also have no clue where she works now. She left TAG in January 2025 for a better job offer.

Katie claimed that she created copy for anti-Stephanie site (denied plural sites) at Melissa's behest. Melissa allegedly contacted her by phone in May 2024 (bottom of page 14, second link).

"And Ms. Nathan provided all of this language to you orally?"

"She provided language to reference over the phone, yes."

"Did she put anything in writing about the language to be used in the website?"

"No."

So Melissa puts Rebel's and Blake's instructions in writing but is super careful with Stephanie's. It's all verbal.

Melissa allegedly did this anti-Stephanie stuff for a prospective client. I saw rumors that Stephanie "accidentally" uploaded an un-redacted copy claiming the client was The Rock. I never saw that name, so I can't confirm this. It should be getting un-redacted soon as well.

On the Stephanie site, she claims she doesn't know if the prospective client paid Melissa to create the site (bottom of page 19).

She also claimed that she drafted 5-6 tweets. Katie allegedly sent this copy via Signal (in the first link; convenient that paper trails that don't exist all happened on Signal even though she seemed to save all of her Rebel and Blake Signal chats). So every communication on the Stephanie site and social media was done by phone and the copy was sent via Signal. Katie admits she never spoke to the client, setting up a possibility that Melissa lied to her about the client requesting the copy. Katie also spoke to Jed about the Stephanie sites she claims.

"Earlier you testified that the Alexander brothers were turned down by TAG as clients."

"That's my understanding."

"Isn't it true that you yourself 13 personally worked for them on the side?"

"I wouldn't qualify it as 15 working with them."

"And that was not for TAG, it 23 was outside of TAG, right?"

"I'm not sure."

Page 16 of 1st link. Katie tries to claim that Melissa wanted her to work with the Alexander brothers, even though she turned them down. That doesn't make sense. Why would she turn them down and still ask Katie to help them?

She even said, "I received payment for work down in conjunction with Jed and Melissa."

But she was a TAG employee at the time. If she was doing this work for Melissa, the payment should've come from TAG. Clearly, she was paid under her side hustle, either an official business or paid to her personally.

Now, let's circle back to Stephanie. When Stephanie went probing into who created the sites attacking her, one was registered to one of her former employees. I cannot find my notes with that woman's name at the moment. That employee denied involvement and claimed she was being set up. This was a woman who worked with Katie, not Melissa. So why would Melissa want to set her up?

Once Stephanie realized that woman wasn't involved and she had some evidence that Katie was, Katie switched from setting up that woman to blaming Melissa. So Katie clearly creates the sites on her own. Even if people actually believe she set up the Alexander brothers at Melissa's behest (which is hard to believe since Melissa said no and is more likely that Katie contacted them directly after Melissa said no), Katie admits she was paid for that.

Since she has no proof Melissa was behind Stephanie's sites, Melissa denies it, Jed denies it, and the author very clearly seems to be a former employee (Katie was; Melissa wasn't), it is just as likely Katie did Stephanie's on her own the same way she did the Alexander brothers.

I am not following the Rebel case, because I am too invested in this one. But Melissa very clearly asked Katie to set that site up. Could she legally deny involvement since Katie's side hustle is not tied in to TAG? That's something I can't answer. But one thing is very clear, Katie does the smear websites.

"Are you saying you didn't perform any services whatsoever for the Alexander brothers?"

"It was requested that I connect with them to create a website in conjunction with their ongoing litigation."

Sure, Jan. Melissa didn't want to work with them but she requested you do it. Not buying it any more than I am that she didn't do the Stephanie site(s) alone. And since the Stephanie sites predate TAG, it is impossible they were done for TAG and improbable they were done on behalf of a client Melissa never even signed. Like most of Katie's story, it doesn't make sense.

I don't care that Katie likely created Stephanie's sites, especially since it seems the allegations were true. It was setting up her former co-worker and then Melissa that puts her in the same camp as Blake for me. I do dislike that she helped the Alexander brothers.

I do want to look into the Rebel case at some point, because the producer (who has a bad reputation herself) and her financial backer (who is in the Epstein files) are claiming Rebel weaponized false claims to steal control over a movie, essentially what Blake did. Obviously Charlotte told Rebel what happened (since Rebel wasn't present) and I doubt she would've if she didn't see something wrong with it. If Rebel exaggerated to steal control or God forbid her allegations are true, Charlotte might be the real victim in that case. But if what Melissa asked Katie to write was true, I don't see anything wrong with exposing it. I reserve judgment on that case until I look into it.
