I would like the game to move away from the TV broadcast presentation to the live field experience. The TV-broadcast immersion the game has currently is made for commercials and ads. The field experience could give me toned down, real world, gritty game
I timed a game recently. If you don't skip over replays, brand identification ads (Big Ten, SEC), team entrances, celebrations, and other waiting periods of time, you will finish a 20-minute game in about 60 minutes. With no accelerated clock.
If you remove all of that extra stuff, you can get a 20-minute game down to 35 minutes or so.
That's an extra 25 minutes of my life I could have back. There's no need for me to sit through ads on a video game.
