Built an app that shows you how much your savings rate has slipped over time - would anyone actually use this?
I've been building a personal finance app, but with a pretty specific focus - instead of budgeting or expense tracking, it's aimed at people who just want to see if their money is rotting in a low-APY account without realizing it.
The main thing it does: connects your accounts and shows you your actual APY per account, flags if your rate has quietly dropped, and tells you roughly how much you're losing annually by staying where you are.
Quick question for y'all - do you actually know your current savings APY off the top of your head? And has anyone ever been surprised to find out their rate had slipped without them noticing?
Not promoting anything, genuinely trying to understand if this is a real problem people care about.
