Moving solar sub panel

I am going to have a sub panel moved so we can put a tv on the wall. The solar runs go into the sub panel. Unfortunately the solar runs are going to be too short. Can the solar runs to the sub panel be spliced in a junction box in order to extend the runs ? Or is that against code?
