**Company:** Dominion Energy, Inc.
**Ticker:** D

**Report Date:** **May 1, 2026, before market open (expected).** The conference call is typically **around 10:00 AM ET.**

**📊 Wall Street Expectations (Q1 2026)**

**Estimated EPS:** about **$0.53 to $0.58**.
**Estimated Revenue:** about **$4.1B to $4.4B**.
Consensus is relatively tight and reflects a stable utility setup where earnings are driven more by rate base growth than volatility.

**📈 Key Things Traders Are Watching**

**Regulated utility earnings stability (core driver)**
This is probably the biggest driver. Dominion’s earnings are primarily tied to its regulated electric and gas utilities. Investors will look for steady, predictable growth consistent with its rate base expansion.

**Data center and electricity demand growth (especially in Virginia)**
This is a major catalyst. Dominion operates in Northern Virginia, a key data center hub. Power demand from AI and cloud infrastructure has been rising, and Q1 commentary on load growth could matter more than the actual EPS number.

**Rate cases and regulatory updates**
Utilities live and die by regulation. Any updates on rate approvals, allowed returns, or regulatory relationships could move the stock more than the quarter itself.

**Capital spending and grid investment**
Dominion has been investing heavily in grid modernization and infrastructure. Investors will watch whether capex is tracking to plan and supporting long-term rate base growth.

**Offshore wind project (Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind)**
This is a key long-term project. Updates on cost, timeline, or execution risk could be a meaningful catalyst, as large-scale projects can impact both earnings and investor sentiment.

**Balance sheet and leverage**
Utilities tend to carry significant debt. Investors will watch leverage levels and whether Dominion is maintaining a stable financial profile while funding large projects.

**Dividend sustainability**
Dividend stability is a core part of the investment case. The market will look for confirmation that earnings and cash flow continue to support the payout.

**Last quarter for context**
In **Q4 2025**, Dominion reported about **$3.9B in revenue**, **EPS around $0.29**, with steady regulated earnings and continued investment in infrastructure and energy projects.

**My read:**
For **D**, this feels like a **rate base + demand growth** call first and a **regulatory / capex** call second. If they come in around the current setup but show steady earnings, strong electricity demand (especially from data centers), and no surprises on regulatory or project execution, that probably matters more than a small beat or miss on EPS.
