Contemplating traveling

Hello all! I am seriously considering traveling for the first time after being an RN for 14 years. My specialty is Vascular Access/PICC. My concern is the likelihood of floating. I have been reading posts here that say it is common, but I have never worked bedside. Do they take that in to consideration when they float you, or just imagine you’ll figure it out since you once went to nursing school?
