Is Google Drive the only option for WhatsApp backups? Any alternatives?

I was wondering if WhatsApp backups are limited to Google Drive, or if there are other options available.

I’m trying to move away from Google services and would prefer using encrypted cloud storage like MEGA, Internxt, or Sync.

Is there any way to automatically back up WhatsApp chats to another cloud service? Or even manually export and store chats somewhere else?

Would appreciate any tips or workarounds if you’ve tried this.
