Single for 4ish years and want a relationship

Been trying to date key word being try. My friends don’t really go out and when they do I only hear after the fact granted I’m struggling to find consistent work so I tell myself that’s why. I’m on the apps trying to meet people and not taking it super serious as it’s a ghost town (I can get a few matches and try to make conversations about something in their bio). I’d like to go places and just explore the city try new restaurants and what not but after like 10 texts max (most time it doesn’t even get that far) it’s radio silence. Ik the apps aren’t taken super seriously by women as they get overwhelmed by the amount of likes and matches, but like damn. Am I that boring/ugly that I can’t even try to find common ground before asking out a woman without being ghosted? What I’m doing clearly isn’t working but I want to know a little about the person I match with before meeting up. I struggle to talk to strangers in public not just women (although most times I have no clue what to say to a random stranger I find attractive so I just leave it alone) as I’m quite reserved and shy so it takes a while for me to feel comfortable with people. Idk I’m the common denominator in all these situations so ig I’ll just delete the apps again and not date for a while even tho I’ve been single for 4 years and would like to have a relationshiph.
