Anyone with old-ish iPhone having performance issues lately?

Before the engine update this patch, my iPhone 13 Pro (yes I know not that old) could run this game flawlessly, no heat issues, no fps drops, could play music while gaming or have Picture in Picture.

Now it’s like the complete opposite game can only run by itself and even then sometimes I’m getting fps drops. Also when I’m in the menu and switch to another app then switch back to the game the game needs to reload everything from the start, which wasn’t an issue before.
