Help me. I need advice ?

Memories from my past are hunting me. So I got ill before getting admission to college and because of that I couldn't attend most of my lectures and also prevented me from doing most of my assignments. I only got better prior to end of semester examination which I did well. The problem at the time was that assignments contributed 60% to the final results. This caused me to perform poorly on three courses.

The problem is that the end of semester results were posted on the notice board. A friend of mine went and check all my results and told everyone at the hostel. This hurted my reputation.

I am now a graduate now. And I think people who got to know this part of me will still judge me by that in the future, when I achieve great feet. I need advice. Pls.
